PORTALS Project
MY PORTALS PROJECT grew out of photo scouting walks. I’ve always been attracted to architecture and the resulting geometric shapes when shots are composed just right. Some shots never seemed quite complete, so I started playing with overlaying my own geometry to create a sense of balance and response to my surroundings.
The shapes also feed into the dream-like condition I try to invoke in many of my shots. They are in a sense portals leading to that state and possibly beyond.
